Applications for The Queen 2010 beauty pageant are waited from March 1st at the homepage of RTL Klub TV channel. Contestants must be between 17-24 years old, unmarried, undivorced, without children, natural born females. Based on experiences of last years 24 candidates will be chosen during the preliminaries (March/April), the 24 chosen ones go to the training camp where three of them will be fired by the picky trainers. The remaining 21 girls will go to the final (most possibly held at the end of May).

Popular Hungarian singer's niece'd like to be The Queen

Edina Zámbó, niece of Imre (Jimmy) Zámbó (d.2001) applied to The Queen 2010.

As she said in the interwiev, she always tried to stay herself and not 'a relative of Jimmy', so I didn't find too many pics of her, but she was a contestant at some beauty pageants when she was a child, though. Edina hopes that she'll be able to grab people's heart with her beauty instead of her song.

u know i cant tell really, sometimes i had the impression they photographed the worst they possibly could...im sure the next days things will show.

If this would be the case I'd be 99% sure they did it for purpose and it's a part of the policy of the TV channel. It seems to me they don't really care about international pageants, they just want to make a spectacular show and beat the record.

I hope i'm wrong, though.

except u know....sometimes the mothers are the ones encouraging the girls the first place to participate, compensating for their own dreams that didnt come reality. I ve seen it many times also in Star Hellas, the daughter not attractive and the mothers like they are competing for Miss Universe. When the results are not the one expected, the girls dont care much and moms are like...... all hell broke loose....
