Miss Trinidad and Tobago World 1995-Michelle Khan/Gallery

Michelle Khan represented Trinidad and Tobago at the Miss World 1995 pageant in Sun City, SA where she became T&T's first representative to cop the Queen of the Caribbean title. She placed 3rd overall in the Miss World 1995 finals. She then went on to participate in the Miss Universe 1996 pageant where she did not fare as well-12th place in the preliminaries. She is the first Miss Trinidad and Tobago representative of east indian descent to place at an major international beauty pageant. She modeled in Europe for a few years and went on to win the 1998 edition of Top Model of the World. Upon returning to T&T she started her own company " Events Specialist Ltd." She was the face of the T&T Cancer Society during one of their recent ad campaigns. Michelle recently got married and has relocated to Canada where her husband resides.

Michelle, along with Miss World 1986, was a spokesperson for breast cancer awareness in 2007.
